Ring Sizing Guide
Three Easy Ways To Measure Your Ring Size
One of the most common questions we are asked by customers is how to measure their ring size. It can be quite a daunting task! In reality however, it's as simple as A,B,C (or M,N,O if we are talking ring sizes!).
We usually size our rings in 3 ways:
- UK Sizing - Alphabetically (e.g M,N,O etc).
- EU Sizing - Pairs of numbers (e.g 50,52,54 etc).
- US Sizing - Single numbers (e.g. 5, 5.5, 6, 6.5 etc.).
There are 3 easy ways to check your size:
-
Measure the circumference of a ring you own on a Ring Sizing app.
-
Measure the circumference of your finger using a piece of string.
-
Measure the inside diameter of a ring you own.
1. Using a Ring Sizing app
- Take the guesswork out of the equation by downloading one of the many free Ring Sizing apps on the market.
- They are easy to use, and you only need to have your phone and a ring handy.
- You will place your ring on the circle on the screen and adjust so that the circle matches the inner circumference of your ring. You will then see your ring size in all the different measuring conventions.
- We usually recommend the Ring Sizer by Jason Withers application - https://www.jasonwithers.com/sizer/.
2. Measuring with a piece of string
- If you want to take a more traditional approach, wrap a strip of paper or piece of string comfortably around your finger at the point where the ring will sit.
- Mark the meeting point of the string and then measure the length from the start of the string to this point. This will be the circumference.
- Match your circumference measurement to the closest size in our size chart below.
- If you are between 2 sizes, we recommend choosing the larger size.
3. Measuring the inside diameter of a ring you own.
- This is the easiest but least accurate method - handy of you are in a rush.
- Measure the inside diameter of a ring you own that fits you well (make sure you are measuring at the widest or halfway point.
- Match your diameter measurement to the closest size in our size char below.
- If you are between 2 sizes, we recommend choosing the larger size.
